Worktable Wednesday

I had a conversation with Wiggum today and explained that I needed to spend some time in the studio. It required him to not look at me with his cute puppy dog eyes or flaunt his super-soft fur in my face.

I was moderately successful (he’s so irresistible!).

It didn’t take long for me to come up with a concept for this week’s Book Arts Improv book. I need to refine it a bit more before I get to work.

Just to remind you, this week’s creative influences – knocking out your two front teeth, guy shot out of a cannon, and roll over. Here’s what I did today:

Studio journal pages

Yeah, I blurred my notes. You didn’t think I was going to give it all away now, did you?

What I will tell you is that I’ve tentatively titled the book DOs and DON’Ts for Not Being a Dumbass. I’m also pretty sure that I’ll be making a panel book. Or at least I think I’m pretty sure. Yeah, I’m sure. I think.

As for the rest, my lips are sealed. Stay tuned for the big reveal on Saturday!

I think DO’s and DON’Ts for Not Being a Dumbass is one of the best titles I’ve ever heard. Cannot wait to see what you do!!

Ha ha… such a great title for a book! You need to produce this in a full edition – I’m sure it would sell like hot cakes!
The Panel Book structure looks really cool – very like a flag book, but much more sturdy and 3D. Love it. I’ll be watching out for the final completed project – good luck!

I’m glad you all like the concept! I’m running with it.

So what do you think? I'd love to know!
