Worktable Wednesday

It’s just after 10:00 p.m. here in snow-covered Vermont and I’m proud to say that I have finally settled on a concept for this week’s book. Ice, jump, and public restroom cleaner are the creative influences for this week’s Book Arts Improv.

I’m realizing that I have rather lofty plans and it’s making me nervous. I will say that I’m making another small book with content.

I don’t want to give too much away, which is easy because I don’t have much in the way of visuals today. I spent most of my time on researching structures and writing the story.

Books on paper engineering

Okay, so the pictures give some of it away. Hopefully I’ll be successful at translating the brain stuff into paper stuff.

Come back on Saturday for the big reveal!

Can’t wait to see it! I have both Carol Barton’s books, so I’m looking forward to what you come up with.

Ah…those books are like old friends to me. If that is indeed Mark Hiner’s in front, take good care of it. A while back I thought I’d buy another copy, since I’d impulsively cut up mine and lost some of it, only to discover that it’s now rather expensive…

I look forward to Saturday with curiosity.

Ellen –

Yep, that’s Mark Hiner’s book. I used that one the most while constructing my book.
